GRCC to hold virtual summer graduation ceremony amid coronavirus pandemic

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Grand Rapids Community College leaders are planning a virtual commencement ceremony this summer amid the coronavirus pandemic to celebrate students while allowing as many people as possible to safely participate.

Kyle is a fifth-generation farmer in the West-central Michigan region. He was part of USApple’s Young Apple Leaders program, obtained a business degree from Grand Rapids Community College and is the son of Sue and Chuck Rasch.

Helping kids improve their mental health with the Boys & Girls Club

GRAND RAPIDS — It’s something being talked about more these days, mental health, and for good reason. But what about the younger generation? The ‘Be You Wellness Program’ now offered at the Boys and Girls Club of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth focuses on just that.

… The program is set to run into 2021 with support from the Grand Rapids Police Department, Grand Rapids Community College, Grand Rapids Public Schools and the Stockbridge Business Association.
