Wyoming schools wants to bring learning into 21st century with bond

WYOMING, MI – Thirty-five years ago, Wyoming Public Schools Superintendent Thomas Reeder says he was a student in the district and the buildings have not changed, but the kids are going to very different jobs.
… The additional space will also benefit its Middle College program. Since 2009, students who commit to five years of high school can earn a diploma and an associate’s degree through a partnership with Grand Rapids Community College. Wyoming has about 200 kids enrolled and will graduate its third class this spring.
Successful Restaurant Week Supports Culinary Education Scholarships

It was a super successful Restaurant Week in Grand Rapids this past August. So successful that with each of the 70+ participating restaurants donating $1 for each meal sold, a check for $16,200 was presented to the GRCC Foundation this year growing the donation to $143,106 for the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education (SICE) Student Scholarship Fund at GRCC.
AMBA names scholarship winners

Indianapolis — The American Mold Builders Association has named winners of its 2017 scholarships, which has awarded more than $270,000 nationally since AMBA started the program in 1991.
