GRCC launches ‘Biology in Society’ class in Fall 2017

Use DNA and forensics to solve crimes. Analyze genetically modified foods through biotechnology. Investigate the effectiveness of vaccinations. Examine antibiotic resistance through molecular biology. Explore the newest discoveries of reproductive health.

GRCC is offering a new biology class in Fall 2017 — designed for students who do not plan to major in biology. Biology in Society (BI 110) is a three-credit class that meets the general education requirement for science. No lab!

It will be offered:

  • Section 6505 — 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays on the Main Campus.
  • Section 6506 — 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays on the Main Campus.
  • Section 6528 — 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on the Lakeshore Campus.
