My Degree Path

March Business Cafe sessions focus on career options

GRCC’s Business Cafe series will look at careers in law and the nonprofit industry during March. All the sessions are drop-in, so stay for 10 minutes or the entire time. Snacks are provided!

Here’s the schedule for March:

  • Check on Your Own Progress with My Degree Path — From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 16 in Cook room 201 (the business tutorial lab), assistant professor Angela Long will walk you through My Degree Path, a web-based tool that helps you keep track of which degree requirements have been completed and which remain to be completed.
  • Careers and Opportunities in the Nonprofit Industry — Assistant professor Orletta Caldwell will talk about nonprofit careers from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 23 in room 211 of Cook.
  • Pursuing a Law-Related Career — Professor Garry Brand will explore the multiple paths from GRCC to an undergraduate degree and law school from 3-4 p.m. March 29 in room 213 of Cook. A representative of Western Michigan University’s Cooley Law School will also discuss program.
