GRCC’s Business Cafe series will look at careers in law and the nonprofit industry during March. All the sessions are drop-in, so stay for 10 minutes or the entire time. Snacks are provided!
Here’s the schedule for March:
- Check on Your Own Progress with My Degree Path — From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 16 in Cook room 201 (the business tutorial lab), assistant professor Angela Long will walk you through My Degree Path, a web-based tool that helps you keep track of which degree requirements have been completed and which remain to be completed.
- Careers and Opportunities in the Nonprofit Industry — Assistant professor Orletta Caldwell will talk about nonprofit careers from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 23 in room 211 of Cook.
- Pursuing a Law-Related Career — Professor Garry Brand will explore the multiple paths from GRCC to an undergraduate degree and law school from 3-4 p.m. March 29 in room 213 of Cook. A representative of Western Michigan University’s Cooley Law School will also discuss program.
