The Psychology Speaker Series will look at drug addiction.
Dr. Bryan Singer — a research fellow and lecturer at the University of Michigan who is studying the neurobiology of learning, memory and motivation — will lead a presentation on “Understanding the Neurobiology of Drug Addiction in Humans through the Study of Animals.” Singer will discuss studies that contribute to distinguishing between brain processes that regulate goal-directed and habitual drug-seeking.
His discussion runs 1-2:30 p.m. Feb. 16 in room 168 of the ATC. The presentation is free, and you don’t have to sign up in advance.
